1. What this covers

This policy applies to anyone who uses this website, whether or not you are a customer, and to any material you submit through it.

By using this site you agree to comply with it. It sits alongside our Website Terms of Use.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use this site:

• in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, whether local, national or international;
• in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
• to harm or attempt to harm anyone, and in particular any person under 18, in any way;
• to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material that does not comply with the content standards below;
• to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material, including through our contact forms or live chat;
• to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, trojans, worms, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code; or
• to collect or harvest information about other users of the site, including email addresses.

You also agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of this site in breach of our Website Terms of Use, and not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of the site, any equipment or network on which it is stored, any software used in its provision, or any equipment, network or software owned or used by a third party.

3. Content standards

These standards apply to any material you submit to us through this site, and to any part of it. You must comply with the spirit as well as the letter.

Anything you submit must be accurate where it states facts, genuinely held where it states opinions, and must comply with the law of England and Wales and of any country from which it is posted.

It must not:

• be defamatory of any person, or be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
• promote sexually explicit material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy, marital status or age;
• infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark or other intellectual property right of any other person;
• be likely to deceive any person, or breach any legal duty owed to a third party such as a duty of confidence;
• promote or assist any unlawful act, including fraud or a criminal offence;
• be threatening, abusive, harassing, or invade another person's privacy or cause them needless anxiety;
• be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
• impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation;
• give the impression that it comes from us, if it does not; or
• advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as copyright infringement or computer misuse.

4. Information you send us

Please do not send us confidential information, passwords or payment card details through our contact forms or live chat. If we need something sensitive from you we will tell you a secure way to send it.

We are not obliged to keep material you submit through this site confidential unless we have separately agreed to. If you need an NDA before a conversation about a migration or an acquisition, ask us and we will put one in place first.

Any personal data you send us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. What happens if you breach this policy

We will decide, at our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this policy. Where a breach has occurred we may take whatever action we deem appropriate, including:

• immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use this site;
• issuing you with a warning;
• blocking the IP address or network you are using;
• legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis, including reasonable administrative and legal costs, resulting from the breach;
• further legal action against you; and
• disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.

We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to a breach of this policy. The actions listed are not exhaustive, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

A breach of this policy by a customer is also capable of being a breach of our Terms and Conditions, which may lead to suspension or termination of your services.

6. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy at any time by amending this page. Please check it from time to time, because the version in force when you use the site is the one that binds you. Some of the provisions here may be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the site.
