Promotions and Offers

1. Introductory pricing

Where we advertise an introductory price, such as a first month at a reduced rate, these terms apply.

1.1 The offer price applies to the first term only.

The advertised introductory price applies to your first billing period. After that the plan renews at our standard rate, which is shown on the product page, on the checkout page and on your order confirmation before you pay.

1.2 Annual and multi-year terms.

An annual term is charged for ten months and runs for twelve, which is the two months free we advertise on the pricing pages. It applies to cloud, WordPress, NVMe, VPS, reseller and Agency Partner plans. Where we advertise a saving for paying annually, that saving is calculated against the standard monthly rate for the same plan over the same period. Annual terms renew annually at the prevailing annual rate.

1.3 No hidden renewal.

We will tell you the renewal price before you order and again before each renewal, in accordance with clause 6.5 of our Terms and Conditions. If you do not want to renew at that price you can cancel.

2. Discount codes

Unless the specific offer says otherwise:

• a code applies to the first billing period only;
• only one code may be used per order, and codes cannot be combined with each other or with another promotional offer. The switch credit is not a discount code and is the one thing that does stack, as set out in the Switch Credits terms;
• codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit;
• a code cannot be applied to an order after it has been placed;
• codes do not apply to domain registrations, transfers or renewals, or to third-party licences; and
• we may withdraw a code at any time, and codes expire on the date stated with the offer.

Where a code has been obtained or used in a way we reasonably consider abusive, including by creating multiple accounts to reuse a one-per-customer offer, we may refuse it and may cancel the order.

3. Referrals and partner offers

We do not currently run a referral or affiliate scheme. If we launch one, its terms will be published here before it opens.

4. General

We may amend or withdraw any promotion at any time. Doing so will not affect an order already placed under it.

Where a price or an offer is shown in error, we are not obliged to honour it. We will tell you as soon as we can and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
